History
Having studied patternmaking and design and Apparel Arts Fashion School in Oakland I was drawn towards to tactile delights of working with leather. I really believe that surrounding ourselves with color enriches our day. I started making items for my community and created LeLi Studio in 2023.
Philosophy
Each item is thoughtfully designed to bring a little joy and ease to the day of those who wear or carry them. Every piece is treated with the love and attention to detail that only hand crafting can provide.
Sustainability
LeLi is a small, local, female-owned business based in Berkeley, California. LeLi is a reduced waste business striving to achieve maximum sustainability in all its practices, sourcing all materials from other local and small businesses. All LeLi products are handmade at my studio in Berkeley, California.
